Chinese Taipei (Asia-Pacific) and Nevada (Mountain) will play in the 2025 Little League World Series championship game on Sunday, Aug. 24. Both teams secured a spot in the championship game after winning their respective brackets on Saturday, Aug. 23. Garrett Gallegos led Nevada (5-1) inthe 8-2 victory over Connecticut (Metro)in the U.S. bracket final. He allowed five hits and two runs (one earned) while striking out eight in five innings pitched. Gallegos was also one of several contributors at the plate. He went 2-for-3 with a home run and two runs scored for Nevada. Chinese Taipei (4-0) beat Aruba (Caribbean), 1-0, in the International bracket final. Pitcher Liu Wei-Heng allowed four hits while striking out seven in 5.1 innings. Chen Shi-Hong scored the lone run on an error made by Aruba in the third inning. Chinese Taipei (Asia-Pacific) will play Nevada (Mountain) at 3 p.m. ET on ABC. The 2025 Little League World Series will be broadcast on ESPN platforms, with the championship game airing on ABC. Games will also be available to stream onESPN+.
