It's a continuation of the NFL's expansion into new media. They've already taken advantage of streaming platforms with games on Peacock, Prime Video, Netflix, ESPN+ and more – but those games almost always came with a price. On Friday night, you can throw aside your cable package or streaming service and catch this Week 1 contest for free. Just don't be surprised if, in typical YouTube fashion, someone doesn't ask you, jokingly, to like and subscribe – or to be sure to hit the notification bell so you never miss a video.
